Description
How it works
Choose between two control types:
• 2 to 6 fixed-speed pumps. As system pressure drops, pressure switches start the pumps in sequence. The controller rotates which pump starts first, so all pumps wear evenly.
• 1 variable-speed pump plus 2 to 5 fixed-speed pumps. The variable-speed pump starts first and adjusts its speed to hold the set pressure. When it reaches full speed and demand keeps rising, the fixed-speed pumps cut in one by one. This gives smoother pressure and lower energy use.
Construction
• 2 to 6 centrifugal pumps, each with a ball-type non-return valve on suction and a ball valve on delivery
• Mild steel suction and delivery manifolds
• Pressure vessel on the delivery manifold
• Motor control panel for fully automatic operation
• Pressure gauge plus adjustable pressure switches, or a pressure transducer with variable frequency drive
• Motors: 2-pole, 50 Hz, 2,900 RPM, 3-phase, 400 V, F-class insulation, IP54, suitable for frequency converter use
Applications
Water supply in commercial and industrial buildings · Boosting pressure where mains pressure is too low · Hotels, hospitals, offices and towers
