Description
Key features
• Greater capacity for heat rejection
• Larger size than package type towers
• Maximum cooling performance
• Large wetted surface for uniform water distribution and higher heat transfer efficiency
• Fill and drift eliminator allow maximum air volume through the tower
• Durable fiberglass reinforced polyester construction
• Steel hot-dip galvanized after fabrication: anti-corrosive and low maintenance
• Economical operation at lower energy
• Reduced noise
Also available: LHC heavy duty cross flow tower
An induced draft, heavy duty, low-noise rectangular tower. Large fans run at low speed to keep noise down, and screens stop objects from entering the water basin. High heat transfer efficiency with low energy use and low maintenance.
Applications
Cement · Steel · Power generation · Large process plants
Cooling tower FAQs
Cross flow or counter flow: which is better?
Counter flow towers usually give more cooling in a smaller footprint. Cross flow towers are easier to inspect and maintain and need less pump head. Our engineers will recommend one based on your load and site.
What information do you need to size a tower?
Water flow rate, hot (inlet) and cold (outlet) water temperatures, and the wet bulb temperature at your site.
